1. To run the film clip, drag the centre slider back to the beginning and then use frame advance which is the triangle pointing right with a vertical bar behind it.

2. Run the video frame by frame noting the bunny's ear position against time as best as you can judge these values.

3. Draw you graph with displacement as the vertical axis and time as the horizontal axis. Check the points by running the video a few times.

4. When you have completed the best graph you can, draw a smooth curve of BEST FIT, not a series of connecting lines.

5. You should now have a graph resembling the one in the notes.

6. Where ever you like, but spaced over the range, draw a series of tangents to this graph each touching the curve at different spots.
Three to four should be a minimum.

7. Judge the times where these touch ( are parallel to ) the curve.  Note these times.

8. Draw large triangles to the tangents and measure the "rise" to the "run" of the triangles - measure the slope!

9. These slopes are the speeds at the prenoted times ( distances on the other axis).

10.  Draw another graph of the speed against the times. This should be very nearly straight, the slope of which is the acceleration.
